MI 4th District Dem Convention Info

The Michigan Democratic Party is having an "Endorsement Convention" at Cobo Hall in Detroit on Saturday, April 17, 2010. This convention will vote to endorse a Dem candidate for Secretary of State and for Attorney General.

There are currently two Democratic candidates for Secretary of State: Wayne State University Law Professor Jocelyn Benson and Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey.

Two candidates are also seeking the Democratic nomination for Attorney General: Wayne State University Board of Governors Chair Richard Bernstein and Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.

Any member of the Democratic Party who has an up-to-date membership in the MDP is eligible to vote. Please bring your membership card.

The 4th District meeting will be from 10 am to 11 am in Area D-3, Rooms 20 & 21.

The Endorsement portion will start at 1 pm in Macomb Hall.
